Friends, on Sunday, December 10, Kyabje Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche 13th will give an extended root empowerment of Yuthok Nyingthig at the request of the Russian sangha.
Yuthok Nyingthig, or “Yuthok Heart Essence”, is a set of Buddhist practices handed down by Yuthok Yontan Gonpo, a great Tibetan physician and meditation master of the 12th century, who is considered an incarnation of the Medicine Buddha. This system belongs to the highest Tantric teachings, from the preliminary to the practices of Mahamudra and Dzogchen.
The tradition includes methods suitable for modern practitioners, providing both earthly benefits in the form of health and longevity for oneself and others, and complete spiritual liberation. Yuthok Nyingthig is related to Tibetan medicine and unique methods for practitioners. It is the only complete cycle of Vajrayana teachings where the Medicine Buddha is the personal yidam.
